- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

- 1 tbsp red food coloring
- 1/2 cup sugar-free sweetener
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- Whisk almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix applesauce, oil, eggs, vanilla, food coloring, and sweetener.
- Combine dry and wet ingredients, then stir in almond milk and vinegar.
- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full and bake for 18-20 minutes.
- Let cool before frosting.
Notes
- Use gel food coloring for a richer red color.
- Check cupcakes with a toothpick to ensure they are fully baked.
