- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sausage slices and cook until browned, about 3 minutes.
- Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 4 minutes.
- Sprinkle Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper over the mixture. Stir well.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- Use pre-cooked smoked sausage for faster preparation.
