Description

Healthy apple sauce granola bars with no added sugar, perfect for a quick snack or breakfast on the go.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix oats, cinnamon, nuts, and dried fruit.
  3. In another bowl, combine applesauce, almond butter, honey, and vanilla.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Press mixture firmly into the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden.
  7. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
