Healthy apple sauce granola bars with no added sugar, perfect for a quick snack or breakfast on the go.
Ingredients

- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup dried fruit (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix oats, cinnamon, nuts, and dried fruit.
- In another bowl, combine applesauce, almond butter, honey, and vanilla.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix well.
- Press mixture firmly into the baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- For extra crunch, toast oats before mixing.
- Adjust sweetness with more or less honey.
