Description
A healthy and low-carb breakfast bake made with egg whites and spinach.
Ingredients

- 6 large egg whites
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup shredded low-fat cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté onions and bell peppers until soft.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted.
- In a bowl, whisk egg whites with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Mix in the sautéed vegetables.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute spinach with kale.
- Add cooked turkey bacon for extra protein.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
