Description

A naturally sweetened apple cider drink made with dates.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup pitted dates
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine apple cider, dates, cinnamon stick, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Reduce heat and let steep for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove cinnamon stick.
  5. Blend mixture until smooth.
  6. Strain through a fine mesh sieve.
  7. Serve warm.
