- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup chopped lettuce
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and stir well.
- In a baking dish, layer half the beef, half the cheeses, and half the sour cream.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Top with diced tomatoes, onions, black olives, lettuce, and jalapeños before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken.
- For extra spice, add more jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce.
